My Name is Elizabeth Nyarko for Nobewam a village in Ashanti Rehion. I reside at Buokrom in kumasi near Cita Printinf Press. I am a divorced mother who is raising four children two girls and two boys on my own.
I learnt catering and have completed a vocational school but due to no support from my family I could established my own catering firm so I decided to venture into trading.
I am a very hardworking lady, dicisipline and active working hard to support my children so that one day they would grow up to become responsible in their endeavors life.
Honestly as my brother told me about this Zidisha I embrace with a goodheart and would be happy to expand to expand my trade due to Zidisha
I started started selling sachet water in 2018 of which I raised capital to start my salt business. Now I sell packs of salts to various homes in community. I buy bags of salt and sell the pieces in them to raise money for my business. Salt is consume in every home so I have find that opportunity to sell salt to my clients in their homes without them waiting their time to go to the market. this has help me build a good relationship with my clients who call on daily basis to purchase salt from me.
As everybody consume salt, I want to use the loan to purchase two more bags of salt so I can serve my clients very well. I would like to expand this salt business so in future I can become a whole distributor of salt in my community.
Fortunately for us in Ghana here there has been a decline in cases of Covid 19 so business has been gradually coming back to the normal state. we have been adhering to the various protocols issued by the governmrent to trade. Due to that I sell more salt to my clients and raise money. I would pay the loan from my daily sales at the end of every week.
