About Me

I was born in a family of five as the first born,I went to primary school through Collage,I din't go to a nice Collage because of school fees and my siblings,After collage i started a church with the principle that i would not get any money from it but support it,i lost all my friend , but now people who are joining us are growing in many ways, in business I started farming when i was very young and was inspired by my Grandfather,I raised chicken which paid my school fees, and had some left for my pocket money,Because of the passion in farming ,I live in a culture where people depend on farming ,but the don't do it smart, and i want to be a solution and let them know and see that farming is business, not just a way of life.

My Business

After venturing into mixed farming afew years ago I can see the fruits of my labor. I started with poultry the moved to dairy cows, and all this has been through Zidisha. Now I have 500 layers and another 250 chicks to replace the layers once they are old in the next six months. I then bought some. Dairy cows venturing into production of milk I have three and four haifers and thee bulls. From these. I am able to pay school fees and support my family and the less fortunate in the community. This loan iam applying today I want to raise ten young bulls for butcher at the end of the year a will be buying them for seven thousand fatten them and sale the after a year for 40k.my strategy is for the current project the chickens and cow pay for the bulls. From which I plan to buy land at the end of the year after selling them and borrowing another loan. Thanks Zidisha.

Loan Proposal

Since I joined Zidisha I have had a good progress in my passion of farming, and so I have four dairy cows and ten bulls for Bucher in December, I also have layers and rooster that I get eggs and chickens meat, for the farm to run effectively I need to buy animals feed that will able to get me through the next three months. And with this in mind, Iam proposing 1000 $ for the feeds buying. The will able me buy 30bags of chicken feeds and 40 bags of cows feeds.

Income Source

With my farm already in operation I am already have a steady income from milk and eggs. The Covid 19 has been a lesson to me and during the first lock down in our country everything went to a stand still and we struggled, but it was a learning experience now I had to do value addition to my products especially milk and I also bought a refrigerator for storage. I also organized for home delivery for the products using a second hand motorcycle that I purchased. And so I am good to go with this at my disposal.
