About Me

MY STORY.
I live in Mt. Elgon District, Bungoma County, western region of Kenya. Am a graduate in Bachelors of mass communication.
Since childhood I had a passion in dairy farming and it has been my prayer to fulfill my childhood dreams. High demand of milk in my area also motivated me to venture in this business.
In 2013 I bought a heifer which am now supplying 8 litres of milk daily in my area. The returns from this sales , I managed to buy another heifer. I know through zidisha I will be able to achieve my dreams of owning a dairy farm.
During my free time I mentor youths in my locality on entrepreneurship and on spotting different business opportunities within the region. I also read inspirational books which motivate me a lot. I hope my loan application will be considered for me to grow my business.

ABOUT MY BUSINESS.
As said earlier,I deal with dairy farming for commercial purposes. I supply 8litres of milk and the high demand of milk motivated me to purchase another heifer to meet the demands. Once given the loan I will be able to pay the loan through the daily sales of milk.
I have enough customers that have trust in my milk and this makes my milk have ready market.

Loan Proposal

MY LOAN PROPOSAL
If my loan application is approved I will be in a position to construct a structure for my cows. It has been my prayer that my cows get good structure so that they can produce good amount of milk.
Once I get this money I will purchase 4 iron sheets, timber, nails. The remaining money I will use for paying for labour.
I will do Artificial Insemination(A.I) for my heifer and buy animal feeds to improve milk production.
When I get this loan , I will work extra hard to see that I pay this loan until I complete without problems. I will be saving money that I get from milk sales daily. This will enable to repay the loan with ease.
