About Me

My name is Ernesta njeri mwangi I was born on 6th June 1977 at nakuru in nakuru county. I joined mwiruti primary school and later I joined st ann. Secondary school for my o levels. After school I joined Melvins College for a course in management. Afterwards I worked for various employers until I decided to start self employment. This came as an idea when I realized in had to take care of my parents who were know getting aged and could not go on with their farming activities I also needed money to educate my son since I am as single mother . I settled on a business of selling fresh fruits and fruit nectar juices. Look forward to be a zidisha member.

My Business

My business is located in gilgil town. Outside biashara plaza I am specialized in selling fresh fruits. I started the business after I realized there is great demand for fresh fruits and juices gilgil town is a very busy town with a great population making it a hub of good business in almost all fields. My customers prefer my products rather than those of my competitors because they are fresh and tastier I usually correct my fruits from fruit farms which are as far as muranga county. My business does well and I am able to provide for my aged parents and educate my son. It is also from its proceeds that I was able to contribute together with my other family members to buy a piece of land at the outskirts of gilgil town and built a semi permanent house where I live with my parents. I also supply my juices to the local hotels. Some of the challenges my business faces is luck of modern blending machine to separate fresh juice from pulp. With zidisha platform I will be able to overcome this challenge once and for all.

Loan Proposal

Thanks to you all my lenders, my just concluded loan was very helpful to my business which has continued to record a tremendous growth in profit margin. I was able to open my second juice and soft drinks outlet within my town which is equally doing well. For this loan, I am planning to refurbish the new outlet and acquire a bland new machine for squeezing sugar cane juice which has become more popular among my customers at a cost of US$ 300. Many of them prefer to take it instead of carbonated non nutrients drinks like soda and likes that is the reason why I want to capitalize on this demand to reap maximum benefits to repay my loan on time. The remaining US$ 90, will go towards buying piles of fresh sugar cane from farmers .     Thanks to you all my lenders for accepting to fill my bids on time. I now have a chance of procuring a brand machine to squeeze juice out of sugarcane. This juice has become very popular among my customers. Since i will do it very professionally it will be nutritious and tastier especially when mixed with other juices to give a perfect cocktail. I will also be able to supply it to most hotels in my locale for resale to food eaters. It will definitely have a positive impact to my business, thanks once more to all of you.

My Juice and soft drinks business as of today would not have moved with great acceleration were it not of your great generosity. As a reason, my business has recorded a tremendous growth since my first loan through this platform. I have been able to educate my son and he is now in form two. I have also been able to open another juice and soft drinks outlet which is equally doing well and I have never strained in paying my bill so is my upkeep, May I say generally I am doing well. In my next loan I am planning to refurbish my new outlet and procure a brand new machine for squeezing sugar cane juice which is becoming more popular among my customers.     i take this opportunity to thank all my lenders for their continued support. my business has been able to reach this peak due to your generous lending. my previous loans have made me record good profits and i am now a proud owner of a piece of land where i am intending to build my own residential house to live with son.     Thanks to all my lenders for your continued support, it is your help that has made my business survive all this long. before joining zidisha my business was performing below standard, i never used to have a modern juice extractor nor a large variety of fruits to sustain my customers demand. with my first loan i was able to purchase a Ramtons extractor and increased my fruits stock with almost all types of fruit in my locale. thanks once again. my family are proud of you too and my son is doing well in school because i am able to pay for his lunch and milk programmes making him a very healthy boy at all times, i urge you continue supporting me and God will bless you as well. all the Best.
