I am a Ghanaian by birth. I had my elementary education at a village called Asuokor where i attended Primary and Middle School. I lost my father when i was in Middle school. I was not discouraged .In form three, i sat for common entrance examination and became first in my school that year in English. I was able to gain admission to secondary in 1990 school through my elder brother who paid for for my admission fee. In school i was able to learn had and became first in my class. That offered me an opportunity to get a merit scholarship which i held unto until i completed school in 1994. After school i was not ale to pass mathematics so i stayed at home for two years and worked for money to be able to register math. By the grace of God, i passed at the second attempt and went to Teacher Training College and came out as a professional teacher. After confirmation as a teacher in 2000 i was posted to a village. My country Ghana is a peaceful one. The challenge the youth have is unemployment. The country has a full potential for agriculture.
Apart from being a teacher, i have learned to become a taxi driver. I do this business after school every afternoon to supplement my income. n a day i could earn about $ 10 for five days all things being equal. So in all i earn about $200 in a month. My net monthly salary is $200. I chose taxi business because it offers ready cash. As soon as passengers alight they pay their fare. Many people in Ghana do not own their own private cars so a great number of the patrol taxis.I use the profit to cater for my little daughter's education. I do some money for future to be able to purchase a ford transit bus in the near future. I intern to use this loan am applying for to repair another taxi and give to a driver to use.In terest rate in Ghana is very high ranging from 27 % to 35%. That is why i am happy to benefit from Zidisha loans.
I will use this loan to repair my Opel car and give to another driver to use to increase my income. I would use it to buy the following parts. Opel doors one set$ 200, Opel engine $ 400. This car will bring extra income to my family and help me meet all my marital responsibilities. I would earn not less than $10 daily for six or five days depending upon the negotiations between me and my driver
