About Me

Am a Second born in a family of three.I was born and grew up at Thika,Muranga county Kenya.
I attended Waitua primary school and latter Ngararia secondary School.My mother died while I was still in primary school.
My aunt paid for my fees and upkeep.Latter after finishing High school I joined my Aunt who was residing at Mombasa.
I enrolled at Mombasa Polytechnic for food and beverage course .the course was to take 4 years.Unfortunately my aunt died while I was on my 2 and 1/2 year.I was forced to return back to Thika.Latter I was married and I now have 2 children.
My husband supported me and I started Catering services.
I usually supply food (catering services) on events like Wedding,birthday,graduations,funeral parties e.t.c. .Am also now currently hiring out plastic chairs on events thanks to Zidisha first loan
Am applying for loan to tap on opportunity . i will buy 50 people tent and hire them out on above events.This will supplement my Catering and chair hire services profit.

My Business

After I was forced to cut short my Food and beverage course .
I was married and my husband assisted me to set up the catering services.
The catering services is doing good and am happy because am able to pay my upkeeps and i provide employment as I usually hire out casual labourers when i get order to assist on Cooking and serving.
The first loan I purchased plastic chairs and the other loan i purchased 50 people capacity tent.This are highly demanded during these events.I will be renting them out and get some profit from these.
From this loan I intend to purchase 100 people capacity tent as sometimes I get two order at the same date thus not able to provide for all the events
The tent cost about 700 Dollars. From my saving I will add to the loan if my request is funded

Loan Proposal

If my loan request is funded I will be able to purchase 50 people capacity tent to be hiring out during events such as wedding,birthday,meetings e.t.c.
The cost of the tent is approximately 365 Dollars.
