My name is James Muchai Maina.I was born in the year 1958 in Kiambu County,Kenya.I went to school in my early age at Muguga primary school, upto class seven and did my c.p.e examinations.I later started looking for jobs since during those days you could get one easily.I found one for being a laborer in a farm near home.I worked for several years until my uncle took me to the Vehicle Driving School. After i completed the course i was employed in Nairobi by a certain company in Industrial Area,I worked tirelessly until i got enough money and i decided to marry. Its through the one i loved for long,i married Mary Mugure through the Kikuyu customary marriage. We have so far been blessed with seven children.Out of the seven,Five have completed their college level and moved to major cities to look for an employment. The remaining two are still schooling at Mount Kenya University.I thank god for giving me such wonderful family.
My business deal with Transportation services.I transport passengers from one city to the other cities.I started this business because of the passion i had throughout my employment period.I thank God because out of the small cash i had from my former job, i managed to talk to Equity bank and secured a Motor vehicle loan.I had serviced the loan and cleared it in full by the year December,2012.I now own the vehicle and i enjoy this business.
I believe that through the Zidisha laon,I will add value to this business by servicing the Matatu(that is locally called)to be making more cash than it is for now, repair the customers seats and buy two more new tyres,to improve the services.
Thank you all the Zidisha Organization. The first loan helped my Matatu to look more modernized.I repaired all my matatu seats and the customers were more comfortable and happy. Now with this Second loan,I will buy all the four new tires so that the matatu can go for more mileage without any problems. The remaining cash will buy a brand new bumper so that it will gain a new look.Thank you and welcome for the bidding process. Thanks alot
