I operate a saloon business which is located in the outskirts of Nakuru town, in langa langa centre. i started my business due to the greatest desire and passion in the service industry. These is business has a very high and efficient demand due to the high population in the area made of very many young female gender, who are competing with the fashion and designs. I do give the following services: plaiting, chemical relaxing, blow drying, weaving. It has been my desire to sell the following chemical hair and other beauty product and also to offer pedicure and manicure but I have not been successful due to inadequate finance coupled with very high interest rates offered by financial institution in Kenya. My customers prefer my business to my competitors due to the high quality service that I give at very fair prices, efficiency and good customer relation that have made them very royal. I have been able to educate my children and am also planning to acquire a plot of land through my business revenue. During peak season I do make approximately KES 70,000 in a month and incur KES 25,000. There is an overwhelming number of customers who demands my service unfortunately I have not been able to meet their demand; if I get the loan I will be able to expand my business to serve them all.
thank you for my first loan, am planning to use my first loan to expand my salon business by buying a blow drier, this will make service more efficient and effective since i will be able to serve more customers at once. i will also use the remaining amount to buy more human hair and other necessary chemicals. i believe with the zidisha loan which is very cheap and friendly i will grow much bigger economic wise
