I live in Kiptangwanyi shopping center which is approximately 43km from Nakuru town. Nakuru town is our nearest major town within this area. I am single. I live in plot number 51 at the shopping center where I carry out my business. My business entails a kerosene pump at the shopping center. I sell kerosene at the shopping center of various quantities ranging from small quantities to those ranging in large quantities. I have been in this business for more than five years and thus I am quite conversant with the ups and downs that this business would face in future.
My business entails the selling of kerosene at the shopping center. The business is profitable because most villages surrounding Kiptangwanyi shopping center are not connected with with electricity and therefore resulting into many people using kerosene as a source of energy. People from the villages are my common customers and I do everything to satisfy their needs for this crucial commodity. The main challenges that this business encounters are lack of finance and fluctuating prices of fuel which adversely affects the whole of energy industry.
Thank you lenders and Zidisha team at large. I would like to use my loan as follows.
15000ksh I will use to repair the fuel pump so as to increase the efficiency of the pump. I will be able to save a lot once the pump functions properly.
Secondly, 20000ksh I will use to add the stock of kerosene. The remaining amount of money will be used to refurbish the room where I operate my business.
