About Me

I live in Kiptangwanyi shopping center which is approximately 45km from Nakuru town. Nakuru town is our nearest major town within this area. I am married with two children. I live in my own plot at the shopping center where I carry out my business. I live in plot number 30B with my family. My business entails the purchase and sale of hardware materials. I deal with sale of mostly building and construction materials.

My Business

My business entails the sale of building and construction materials. I buy most of the materials in Nairobi and therefore sell most of my products at a relatively cheaper prices compared to my competitors. The main challenges that this business encounters are lack of finance to expand the business and fluctuating prices of fuel which adversely affects the whole of transport industry and this results in increased prices of the commodities that I sell.

Loan Proposal

Thank you lenders and Zidisha team for giving me another opportunity to get a loan from Zidisha,
I am grateful that the first loan that I got from Zidisha microfinance was of very great help.My business at the moment is doing well and I am hoping to do great with this second loan. I hope to increase more stock in my business and also to introduce new products that are not easily available at the moment in my business.

    Dear lenders,
I wish to reschedule m loan repayment at this moment and reduce my amount. Things have been very tough on this side of our country. The rains have failed for the past three months and thus the business has been affected so much negatively. Consumers purchasing power have gone done the sales that I make from the business have seriously declined.

      Dear Evans,
have read about your situation, and I sympathise, but would like to ask if, for nothing else than for your future credit history's sake, you might be able to pay at least the same amount as on July 2nd every 2-3 weeks or so? Right now, it looks really worrying: less than 1% paid back over the first 7 months from disbursal.

      All the best,
      Mårten

      Dear Evans,
another year has passed, during which Kenyan construction has boomed (or so we've heard). Have you been able to take advantage of this?

      All the best,

Hello Evans, how is your business doing now? Maybe you could reschedule to pay less each month than what is said now. Regards, Pavane

    Hi lenders,
I hope you are all doing well. I am doing well too despite some challenges in my business here and there that has negatively affected the business. Thus I have been not able to send my monthly repayment on time. I thus wish to reschedule my loan repayment and request for more one month to resume my repayment.

    Dear Lenders,
I wish to reschedule my loan at this time. I would like some two more months. The business has not been doing well at this time which has been largely attributed to the dry season that we are experiencing at the moment. I hope that I will be able to catch up on well with the repayment in the next and remaining months.
