My Business

My Salon business is strategically located at the heart of Mawanga Shopping Centre,along Nakuru-Murunyu road.At my Salon business you can get services like,hair braiding,hair straightening,massage weaving,curl-kit,manicure &pedicure,perfumes and colognes among ather services.I started the salon business after getting some money from my former job,where i worked on commission basis.In 31/04/2010, i managed to secure a loan of ksh.120,000 from Emmanuel Vision Self Help Group,which i repaid it fully by the year 30/03/2011.The loan was for a period of 12 months. My salon business sometimes faces some financial challenges and that includes,sometimes a customer may want the services and the products in large quantity which to me becomes imposible due to lack of enough cash to finance.secondly a customer may demand me to cut for a percentage as it appears in other bigger salons of which sometimes becomes very difficult to me as i dont have enough stock to offer at that rate.
The prevous sales of the month is as follows:
sales from the services ksh.24,0000
sales from hair & beauty products ksh.25,750
sales from perfumes & cologne ksh18,000
Total ksh.67,750

The total deductions of the month were as follows:
Business rent=ksh.6,000
stock additions=ksh.25,000
Electricity bill=ksh.2,300
Miscellinious=ksh3,000
wages for one(1) lady=12,000
Total=ksh.48,300

Net profit=ksh.19,450
Once the Zidisha team entrust me with the loan, i will be able to offer good services to my customers and selling perfumes and colognes in bulky,
Through the Zidisha loan, i will be able to buy 2 more hair drier machines,4 more blow drier machines bulky perfumes and colognes , 6 more chairs and add more stock for my customers which i will eventually be getting more customers and profits, thus making sure that i remit the monthly payments on time .Thanks
