My name is Johnson Nzai Ruwah a resident of mtwapa and a businessman in mtwapa as well.Am married with nine children. My first child is a boy aged twenty years and in secondary school, in form two. the second and third are both in class eight, the fourth is i class seven, the fifth is in class five, the sixth is in class three, the seventh is in class one, the eighth is in baby class, and the last is one year old. I have a big responsibility with my family's upkeep, and this is why i had to venture into business. Am a class eight lever but got a chance to join to youth polytechnic where i got a certificate in woodwork and carpentry. So with this knowledge i decided to start my own workshop. Its a good business because i have customers and i get a good profit. With the income i get from this business i buy food for my family and pay school fees and all other family needs.
my business is woodwork and i have i workshop here in mtwapa. This workshop is doing good well because i have customers and its also profitable. In my workshop i do all types of wood work making different types woodwork products like furniture, doors, windows, all types. In this business risks are like lack of raw materials which make the profit to be low. In a month i get an income of ksh 30,000 per month. with this amount i use ksh 1 2,000 paying school fees, ksh 5,000 for food for the family, so i save ksh 13,000 per month. with this amount i can use to repay my zidisha loan.
Thank you so much for approving my application. My gratitude to the entire zidisha team for the hard work you are doing in this very special way of helping people. With this loan i will add stock to my woodwork, so i will use ksh 25,000 to buy timber, and i want to buy tools. So with this i will have added value to the business hence expect more returns in income.
