My name is Eric Ali Katana, a resident of Malindi, and a businessman in Malindi as well.Am a family man with two children my first child is seven years and in KG three. the second is five years and in KG one. I live with my children at my own house in Malindi. My education back ground, iam a primary school lever having done well in my KCPE but never got the chance of joining to a secondary school.because my family did not afford to pay for my school fees.So with my low education background i did not get a reasonable job to help my family upkeep. So i had to start involving into business. My business is a barber shop. this business is in Malindi. this business has really helped me as i now can meet my family needs with out any problem. With the income i get from my business, i buy food for my family pay school fees and also invest back to the business.
Am a dedicated businessman in Malindi, am doing a barber business, this business is dealing with hair cuts of all styles and designs In Malindi this business is quite unique, o say so because there no many people doing this business especially in the area i live This gives me more potential to my business. Its a good business and profitable. With this business i get an income of ksh 20,000 per month. in my business there are risks like, thieves, in the place of business security is weak especially late at night, and this is sometimes a challenge to the business. With my income i use ksh 5,000 buying food for my family, ksh 4,000 paying school fees and since i live in my own house i dont pay rent so i save ksh 11,000 per month so with this saving i can repay my zidisha loan without any problem.
thank you the entire zidisha members for making this happen to me for proving my loan application. since am a barbar at malindi town my plans is to use this loan to expand my business by buying two shaving machines which will cost me Kenya shillings 7000 for two and will use another 20,000 to construct another barber shop. and use another ks 6000 for buying chairs for the shop and the rest i will buy shaving chemical. and this will boost my business by increasing my daily income
