About Me

My name is Victor Ndaro Zuma, I was born in Mombasa County the coastal region of Kenya in the year 1987. I come from a very humble background being a third born in our family my ambition is to make sure I achieve what I have set to do. I am a graduate of Information technology all did up to certificate level. I am an Information Technology Consultant. I own a cybercafé in the suburb of Mtwapa town which is the fastest growing town in the east and central Africa. The main aim of starting this cyber business was to create know how of Information Communication Technology to the common mwananchi through service and training. As an IT personnel I focus on acquiring new softwares and upgrading my machines by the earnings I get from my business day by day.

My Business

Digital Communication Centre is the name of the business. Services offered in my organization are as follows:-
Internet, printing, video production, typesetting, international calls, scanning, chat service and Webcam chatting.
It is a spacious, customer friendly Computer Centre located 15 km from city of Mombasa in a Suburb called Mtwapa. We are at the heart of the suburb at the town centre. We work on 5 workstations plus the main server.
My targeted clients are the three generations that is the young, medium aged and the old.
My business is profitable because the services I offer are compulsory to the residents and as a Digital era everything has been computerized hence giving me gains in terms of finance.
Any business has challenges and in this cyber business they are many. Frequent power blackouts are many and as it is known no computer turns on without electricity hence if it goes for a whole day then no business for that day, one must have a generator.

Loan Proposal

Thank you Zidisha team for approving my loan application. God bless you for all that you are doing. As a business man i am focused on adding machines in my digital center. Technology is revolving and things are changing. I am working on upgrading my machines washing away the old ones and getting new ones that applies also on softwares. With my first Zidisha loan i am planning to acquire a new server at my cybercafé that's a CPU that will be strong enough and fast when it comes to file sharing and network sharing. I will also be working on repaying the first loan very fast so that I may reapply for a second loan. Being a Zidisha member I will be working hand in hand with lenders to ensure I widen my business.
