About Me

Am happily married with 3 children, two boys and a girl aged between 11yrs and 6 months’ am a member of Githembe Gwikuria self help group Am form 4 school leaver with a certificate in mechanics course ,depends on casual labour jobs and lives in my father’s piece of land. Business;
I borrowed kshs 70,000 in February 2011 ,constructed a cow shed and bought a cow which I reared was served and gave birth to a calf which am now feeding. In the year 2011 I had done business of buying day old calves buy milk and feeds for them and sell them when they are six months. But I was challenged by milk shortage and decided to have my own source of milk. Due to the responsibilities of feeding my family and paying school fees from casual labor I have not managed to now buy the calves as I had originally intended .I have cleared loan but the self help group can only give another loan after two years as members are many and the savings aren’t much. I would like to borrow kshs.100, 000 to enable me increase number of calves am keeping in preparation to sell as they reach at least six months. The business can give me good profit because I buy calves at kshs.2000 rear them incurring cost of kshs 5000 and can sell them at each kshs 10,000.i intend to have at least 8 calves and my cow can easily feed them with the milk.
