About Me

I believe in hard-work and that hard-work pays. The education I received has been very useful in my day to day life especially in the running of my business. I come from a family of six and we all engage in business. I have plans of getting married very soon hence I have to pull up my socks and fend for my family. My dad trades in stock while my mum is in the agriculture business. I on the other hand deal in running computer cyber cafe. I have IT skills thus running the cyber cafe is easy and sometimes local business calls me to offer them technical support at fee. I intend to expand and offer training services to the local people.

My Business

My business is called Zetech cyber cafe and is based in Githurai Mwihoko and it has been in operation for the last one year. I personal manage my business but I have personal assistance who assists in the day to day activities of the business. My business involves offering internet services, printing services, photocopy services , photography and selling of stationary. Mwihoko is a growing place hence demand for internet services also the fact that Kenya is going digital thus demand for the services is high hence also demand for computer training is high because the computer training services is at Githurai which is approximately 6 KM. My business has challenges of making satisfying all the customers needs more so those who are interested in the computer training because most of everything in kenya is computerised. Outsourced technical support by other business net sales per month is approximately Kshs 5 which I save for expansion hence will be used to repay the Zidisha Loan to allow the cybercafe business grow. The computer cyber cafe average monthly sales is Kshs 58000 and the monthly average expenses is Kshs 47000 hence the average monthly profit is Kshs 11 000.

Loan Proposal

Thanks for supporting my business with an intial loan hence it was resourceful but now I want to expand my business and offer more services thus I intend to use part of my savings and the zidisha loan to purchase a good camera at Kshs 7500 and the Kshs 4300 combined with my savings to purchase Epson printer at Kshs 25 000 hence with these new equipments I will be in position to offer good photography services as well as printing the photos and other services. These services mainly will be outdoor services like weedings, funeral, meetings, school ball games, public festivals and taking photos for schools when admiting new students because it's a requirements and our academic semester is almost starting.
