About Me

My names are Joel Maina,born in the year 1974.I am an orphan and the only child in my family, brought up by my grandparents.I am married and blessed with children.I went to school at Osembo Primary School and later joined Jomo Kenyatta High School. In both levels i scored passes. I later enrolled my self in Wanyororo polytechnic and i underwent tailoring course and opened a tailoring shop, which has been my source of livelihood. 9 months ago i started a Pool Table and Dart board business branded,"Joel Recreation Center". The earnings that i get from my two businesses are used to purchase materials for sewing shop and pay rent and pool attendant and the rest used for daily upkeep of my family

My Business

My business goes under the brand name of "Joel Recreation Center ".It is a well established business since it has been in operation for 9 months.My business deals in offering recreational services where youth play pool table and Dart games at a reasonable fee.The demand of my recreation business has sprung up since i have been able to acquire a significant number of pool table and darts' clubs' members and non-member customers for the 9 months.My customers prefer my business since its situated in a busy shopping center and i also provide membership and games charges at a fair fees.The biggest challenge am currently facing is having only one pool table which is not serving the increased number of clients well. My monthly fees revenue is about 15000ksh and my typical monthly cost is about 6000ksh thus getting a profit of 9000ksh n/b;this revenues are not fixed as they sometimes surge up to thrice the above stated figures.The amount given will be used to purchase a brand new pool table hence increase in revenue

Loan Proposal

The first loan given will be used to purchase a new sewing machine and thus increasing the number of my students and also an increase in production of ready made clothes.Having purchased the sewing machine,this will increase my sales and profit hence able to pay the loan on time without fail.its my hope that all measures,consideration and experience that i have put in place,will definitely work without fail.Its my sincere hope that lenders will have faith in me and fund me as soon as possible so that i may be able to achieve my targets.
