About Me

Am single and the first born of three. before is my 2nd born boy who is now in class 6 and my younger sister who is our last born in class 4. I live in Bungoma and these is how I can be reached as explained previously, When you are in Bungoma town there is safaricom house (authorized dealer) which is located on opposite side as you use the main road to Uganda and it’s directly opposite to Barclays Bank.
When you reach safaricom authorized dealer, there is a road which is in the right side with a post written Bungoma Primary school, you take that route and you walk for about 50mtres and that’s where you will find few shops including an mpesa shop on your right and on your left there is a posho mill.
On the left side where there is an mpesa, the last shop there is a gate with a brown paint.
That’s where I live and when you get in you will find three buildings and each building has 2 sub rooms and 3rd building is where I live with my mother, sister and brother it’s the last room from the right RNO 003 and its plot no 0312.
I wanted to be a doctor but after dropping out of school I opted to start business and be business lady. I operate as an mpesa agent where by I offer services as deposits of money withdrawals and registering new users.
Safaricom ltd normally assists me also on educating me on how to operate and to serve my customers which has greatly assisted me too. I normally get over ksh.20000 per month as commission and I would greatly increase these in increase in capital.
I will be so grateful if given this opportunity.

My Business

When I finished my primary education ,I was able to pass well but do the fact that I was relying on my mother after our father died ,I was not able to proceed and I could not also access any assistance after I was allowed to to stay with my aunt promising to assist me which all ended up returning to my mother after I have wasted much time with assisting her with domestic chores. I talked to my mother and explained her on a view to start a business and help my self and also our family.
After agreeing on that now it was what business we were to start as many businesses were already there and since also we didn’t have enough capital was also a problem.
My mother had a chama (scheme they contribute every Sunday ksh.500 in a group of 15 members) we just saw that was the only hope which worked out well..
After discussing with the members they both agreed to make contributions as usual for one month for all members which amounted to ksh.30000 i signed a form to repay them within three months which I have actually repaid in full amounts.
In Bungoma town I opened up a shop and acquired an aggregated mpesa agent from executive outcomes and started offering such services as depositing and withdrawal, registering mpesa users and also selling scratch cards.
ONE main problem I have encountered is the issues of capital I normally go to bank almost 4times per day as I have very little capital.
Despite being the bread winner at home I have tried my best to utilize the commission I get every month as I get over kHz 20,000 and after paying rent of ksh.3000 I cut my expenses to at least put more capital in the business.
i will be so happy if offered any amount which will assist me in increasing my capital as I do serve many customers daily and that is my bigger challenge I have experienced since the start for the past 6months .

Loan Proposal

The first loan greatly boosted my business a lot and for this second loan I will use 70% to increase the M.pesa float (working capital), 20% to add more stock for credit cards for safaicom for both denominations, 10% to increase housing for mobile phones and also simex replacements i.e. replacing those sim cards which has gotten lost.
From these, I will be able to repay my loan from the proceeds on time as I previously did.
