My childhood was completely very pathetic. I was left with my mother at very early stage when I even had no idea of what life was. It forced me to enter into the street and join other street urchins. I struggled with the street life for a very long period until the time that I was saved by a good Samaritan. he took me to school and I was able to get the desired knowledge which motivated me to be a farmer. The land that I stay in consist of majorly poor people with limited knowledge of Agriculture. They are a good people to sale to my agricultural commodities since they only rely on the food that they purchase from the market. I don't have a unique hobby in life but what I like most is swimming in any kind of waters whether deep of shallow.
I majorly deal with the production of tomatoes. It is a very interesting business because every household depends on it and none can do without it. I chose this kind of business because it requires low capital to start and the returns are very good. One acre of land with tomatoes costs around $70 and the revenue is double the amount invested in the business. Most of the profits in future will be used to rehabilitate the street urchins from the street. I do feel for them because once a time I was a member of them. Other part of the profit I will use for my own upkeep and further expansion of the business.
With the loan, i intent to purchase irrigation sprinklers since i have realized that I don't reap the desired profits in the seasons where there are no rains. With the loan, I will be able to get more profits of which a portion of it I will use to employ people from my neighborhood to assist me with the farm chores. I expect an increment of 50% during the dry period from the normal amount I usually get.
