About Me

My name is Victor Ndaro Zuma, I was born in Mombasa County the coastal region of Kenya in the year 1987. I come from a very humble background being a third born in our family my ambition is to make sure I achieve what I have set to do. I am a graduate of Information technology all did up to certificate level. I am an Information Technology Consultant. I own a cybercafé in the suburb of Mtwapa town which is the fastest growing town in the east and central Africa. The main aim of starting this cyber business was to create know how of Information Communication Technology to the common mwananchi through service and training. As an IT personnel I focus on acquiring new softwares and upgrading my machines by the earnings I get from my business day by day.

My Business

Digital Communication Centre is the name of the business. Services offered in my organization are as follows:-
Internet, printing, video production, typesetting, international calls, scanning, chat service and Webcam chatting.
It is a spacious, customer friendly Computer Centre located 15 km from city of Mombasa in a Suburb called Mtwapa. We are at the heart of the suburb at the town centre. We work on 5 workstations plus the main server.
My targeted clients are the three generations that is the young, medium aged and the old.
My business is profitable because the services I offer are compulsory to the residents and as a Digital era everything has been computerized hence giving me gains in terms of finance.
Any business has challenges and in this cyber business they are many. Frequent power blackouts are many and as it is known no computer turns on without electricity hence if it goes for a whole day then no business for that day, one must have a generator.
Total monthly sales – 26,000
Rent – 6000
Power – 2800
Internet – 5000

Loan Proposal

The funds will help me bu a good camera and a photocopier /printer/scanner in the photo studio that i want to set up due to the demand in my area. Why?

1. Customers have been walking in with their memory cards asking for printing services and i have not been delivering because i have a photocopier only.
2.Others have come asking for their pictures to be taken and printed while other have been asking for passport photos.
3.Since i do video shooting and editing other people have asked me to go and be their camera man at a fee and i have turned them down because i lack the two above.
4.A school came and asked me to do photography work for their year book and that s when i decided to act on this demand.

Dear lenders, these are just but a few examples of how i can use the two equipments to serve my God and humanity apart from gaining an income for me and also support my family that in one way or the other need my support.

A good camera will cost me around 40,000-45,000 shillings and a good scanner/printer/photocopier will cost 6,000-8,000 shillings.

The good thing with this investment is that its returns are instant so it doesn't take long to see its fruits.To add on since i already have a reputation in this business it shouldn't be had for it to pick.
