About Me

My names are Samira Mohamed I was born in 1972 at Pumwani estate in Nakuru County being the first born in a family of three. I joined St Xavier’s primary school in 1977 where I studied for 8 years up to 1985 where I sat for final primary school exam. I did well and joined Menengai high school for my o levels that is from 1986 to 1989. From school I joined Tracom College for a course in electronics engineering for two years completing in the year 1992. I have been doing electronic gadgets installation maintenance and repairs since then, until when I decided to specialize in mobile phone sale and repairs. I am married to my lovely husband Mohamed and we are blessed with three children whom we love so much.

My Business

My business is located in Nakuru town. I am specialized in the sale of mobile phones and repairs. I started this kind of business after I realized there was great demand for mobiles in Nakuru town. i got this Idea in the early 2001 this was the time the mobile phone industry had started to hit the market here in Kenya. I took a quick decision and went to study the repair works from Alcatel Company in Nairobi. Back in Nakuru I rented a shop in town and started selling and repairing the handsets and that’s my business up to date. In my shop I sell all kinds of phone brands e.g. Nokia, Samsung, LG etc. I usually get my stock from direct importers of these commodities in the city of Nairobi and since I am able to get fare prices of the same which makes me give my customers a better discount making my business to stand out among my competitors. I sell both cheap and expensive ones to serve all customers. Nakuru being a major financial center business thrives in almost all fields, for this reason, my business does well and its from its proceeds that I am able to support my family, I have also been able to buy a plot at langa langa estate and build my own house. There are a number of challenges that I face n my business and the most pressing is luck of enough capital to purchase more stocks of hand sets spares and accessories to serve my customers even better. With zidisha platform I will realize this Dream.

Loan Proposal

Thanks to you all my lenders for trusting to fund my bids. This is my second loan that i have applied. i am intending to purchase more stock of cheap mobile phones to target the low income earners who are the majority in my locale. By so doing i will attract more business and hence increase my profits. i will also add more stock of spares and accessories to serve them even better. i urge you to support me in this endevour by contributing towards filling my Bids.
