my name is Francis Barasa , I was born in Western part of Kenya a place called Bungoma. I schooled at Machwele primary school and went to Bukembe Friends secondary school , after that I joined Sang'alo institute of science and technology but I I did not complete my education due to lack of school fees.
I am married to my beloved wife and we are blessed with two kids.
I later decided to start a small business that would enable me to provide for my family and our younger brothers and sisters from both sides. my aunt supported me with 3000 kenyan shillings of which I began small grocery that have finally grown in to a retail shop for the last five years. I am a christian by religion and I teach my kids how to grow and walk in the fear of the lord.
i sell home supplies like branded food vegetables and other retail shop accessories that are useful to the people living in my area. I buy on whole sale and sell them at retailled price. the business is good for you have to walk a long distance for you to get a nother shop. I sell my goods at a cheaper price and tha't;s why i have more customers. to some poor people i give them on credits and they faith fully pay during the a greed time.
So if supported with a loan then my area will develop properly thanks even as you prepare to fund my loan
Most customers need second hand clothing but because i don't have money to buy i request Zidisha members to lend me the money. most people from my village are poor therefore they don't afford to buy new clothes and therefore they depend on second hand clothing.second hand clothes are cheaper it will be beneficial to society because the money which they would have used to travel to town ,they will use to purchase other things.i myself i will benefit a lot because of no competition in the area .as you know clothing is basic need and therefore every one will need it .Due to that reason i expect to make better profit that is more than ten dollas per day. when fully funded i will 550 dollas to buy goods and the other 70 for transportation .ten percent of the profit i will use to help improve the living standard of the orphans buy providing them with foods
