About Me

My name is CORNELIUS TANUI aged 25 years and am a resident of Nakuru county. I am married to one lovely wife with whom i have a kid with. After completing my o-levels, i joined the national youth service whereby i leaned many skills and after graduating i was employed by Total security firm as a security guard which i am currently working during night shifts. Apart from being employed, i run a dairy business whereby i sell fresh milk, mala, and baked cakes and bread.

My hobbies are watching documentaries and football games.

My Business

My business is that of dairy shop whereby i source milk from surrounding rural areas like Njoro, Rongai and Ngata and resell it in Kaptembwo estate in Nakuru town, Nakuru county.

I earn a monthly profit of $150-230 after deducting all expences and i use the money to add more stock to the business and to cater for my family needs. The main challenge that i face in this venture is change in transport cost whereby some times the cost is raised abnormally hence reduction in my income. Another challenge is during drought the quantity of milk decreases resulting to high cost of milk i.e the farmers with milk dictate the price which is not very good for business. With Help form my first loan($150) in Zidisha plus $400 from my savings, i am planning to own my own motor bike in order to reduce transport cost.

Thank you.

I humbly ask of you to help raise the remaining amount so that i can manage to purchase the motor bike in the soonest time possible to transport milk from the farms to Nakuru town and estates where my potential customers are.

God bless you all.

Thank you.
