About Me

My name is Suhiyini Yakubu Mohammed.
I am the third child of my parents out of five children.
My parents are farmers and we live in Tamale in the northern region of Ghana.
I live at Aboabo/Polayafong, a suburb of Tamale with our house number I.90 along the Bonzali Rural Bank street.

With funding from my parents, I graduated from high school(Ghana Senior High School, Tamale) in 2013. I also gained a certificate in basic computing at ICT center in Tamale.
My Hobbies include reading inspirational books, playing football, watching movies.
Enthusiastic about computers, I secured a job as cybercafe attendant in one
IB.COM INTERNET SERVICES in Tamale high school.
.

My Business

Having worked in a cybercafe, my passion for computers grew high.
In November 2014, I set up and now run my own cybercafe here in Tamale.
Although, my cybercafe is not big and consists of only 7 computers, the demand for my services is high in the locality in which I operate my cafe.
My cybercafe is located at Choggu roundabout, a suberb of Tamale along the Kumbungu road.
My father gave me a capital of US$ 500.00 to start the business. Thanks to him!

I have gained a lot of experience in managing Internet cafe business.
I am always quest to expand my business size due to the demand for Internet services at my premises. The challenge is how to get money and expand my business. even though I make profit always( about US$30 to US$35 per month) , utility bills such as electricity and paying my Internet service provider(Vodafone Ghana Ltd) always consumed about 75% of my monthly earnings. So, I make little savings per my monthly profits. Thanks to a friend who introduce me to Zidisha.com. I am very glade to join Zidisha community. Thanks!

Loan Proposal

I wish to seek for financial assistance from lenders of zidisha community. I operate a cybercafe with 15 computers and a printer that performs only print function. Customers who need to do color printing are normally turn away and as a result I have lost so many customers. I want to buy a multipurpose printer that can print black and white, color, photocopy and scan as well. This will serve my customers varied needs of seeking print services. It will also help maintain customers loyalty to the business. I will duly abide by all rules and regulations governing the disbursement and repayment of loans.

The past loans I took helped expanded my business leading to increase in revenue. Consequently, I have ventured into farming where I have prepared the land for the planting of pepper. Pepper in northern Ghana is a lucrative business due to the high demand for it by both industry and household.
