About Me

My name is Mumuni Abudu. I come from Lolobi in the Volta Region. I am married with five children. I am a business man and a farmer. I am able to support my children's education through the cocoa farming. I have about ten acres of cocoa farm. I have a vision to expand the farm in future.

My Business

I am a cocoa farmer. I do generate about 30000 cedis income annually.It is through the farming that I am able to support my children's education, currently I have one child in the University,two in the SHS and two also in the JHS.The cocoa farming is a very lucrative business in Ghana, which the government is encouraging people to engage in.

Loan Proposal

I will like to use the loan to buy a number of chemicals to be use for spraying my cocoa farm in order to control weeds.Due to the raining season,weeds are growing fast and in order not for them to affect the crops, I need to spray them. I will like my lenders to borrow me the loan so that I can buy a number of weedicides to control weeds in the farm.

Income Source

I have bags of cocoa beans and also engaged in production of other crops such as maize, pepper, garden eggs and others. I can sell any of them to pay for the loan.

    I have used the loan I borrowed from my lenders to purchased a brand new bumping machine which is helping me to bump water from a nearby stream to spray my crops.This has helped me to save time and energy spent in fetching water myself. I thank my lenders for their support and their trust. I promise not to disappoint them. I will always pay my loan on time.

    I have received an amount of 545 cedis from my lenders.This amount has been used to buy chemicals for my cocoa farm. I was not able to buy the bumping machine which I intended to buy due to inadequate funds. I thank my lenders for the loan.

    The loan I received from my lenders and Zidisha has helped me to get alot of cocoa seedlings.The loan has helped me to get seedlings which will again help to expand my cocoa farm.     I have received an amount of 308 cedis from my lenders.I have used the loan to buy more
    cocoa seedlings for my cocoa farm. I used it for that purpose because the amount was too small to buy the bumping machine I proposed. I thank my lenders for granting me the loan.It is my hope that Zidisha will offer me a bigger loan which will help me to buy the bumping machine in future.
