My name is Mumuni Abudu. I come from Lolobi in the Volta Region. I am married with five children. I am a business man and a farmer. I am able to support my children's education through the cocoa farming. I have about ten acres of cocoa farm. I have a vision to expand the farm in future.
I am a cocoa farmer. I do generate about 30000 cedis income annually. It is through the farming that I am able to support my children's education, currently I have one child in the University, two in the SHS and two also in the JHS.The cocoa farming is a very lucrative business in Ghana, which the government is encouraging people to engage in.
I will like to use the loan to buy a number of chemicals to be use for spraying my cocoa farm in order to control weeds.Due to the raining season, weeds are growing fast and in order not for them to affect the crops, I need to spray them. I will like my lenders to borrow me the loan so that I can buy a number of weedicides to control weeds in the farm.
I have bags of cocoa beans and also engaged in production of other crops such as maize, pepper, garden eggs and others. I can sell any of them to pay for the loan.
