About Me

Am Zed Juma ,third born of a family of four brothers.I schooled at oneno nam primary school later on went to Kisumu day secondary school. My schooling in secondary was such a rough one, hit by fees problems of which i could be staying back home due to fees arreas.Tried to purservire if i can procede with furthering my education but end up droping on the way. This made me to think of other option of raising funds to facilitate my schooling.Thought of dairy farmin besides my side hurstle of selling second hand clothes. This could help us in the daily upkeep for all the family members since my dad lost his jobs sometime back due to retrenchement and my mother is just housewife doing beat of peasant farming.Life has been so rough especialy in my region ,there are no grazzing grounds due to the fact that people relies on sugarcane plantation which need big chank of land.

My Business

Due to passion and love for animals especially the domesticated ones,i had an idea which has been in my mind since childhood that i need to own Dairy cows for milk production. This came into realisation in my life due to challenges of grazzing field which were scared.
The dairy products are in high demand especially in my region and this can fetch upto Kshs.600 a days sale revenue.I started with 2 cows of which i feel are over whelmed by the community demand, therefore have been looking forward to add the livestock in order to meet the demand but have been hit hard by financial constarains.I do incure some expenses as buying foder ,hay especially in dry speel mostly in december which cost around kshs.400 a day.LEFT with a balance of kshs.200 profit daily,I have to save for any eventuality like livestock sickness which requires quik attention. This has forced me to continue use proceeds gotten from my cloth sales of which is also hanging in the balance but still running.

Loan Proposal

I can produce milk to supply my community on a daily basis earning a revenue of Shs.600 everyday. This is after investing an amount of shs.400 on a adaily basis on food supply to the dairy cows like buying foder and hay which help suppliment other feeding stuff.By doing the culculation i can earn a profit of Kshs.200 everyday translating to 1400 weekly and kshs.6000 every month. This can leave me with some money to serve my disposable income and plough back to my business of dairy farming.Balancing between the clothing business during the boom and ressession.
