My business comprises of vegetables such as ,kales ,cabbage, managu, saga, murendaa, terere, cucmbers eggplant, beetroot, carrots.Fruits such as,mangoes, oranges, pineapple, grapes, dates, pawpaw, passion, avocado.Vegetables and fruits are basic commodities which are used on daily basis by families so they bring income instantly.I serve my customers well and their admire my services. The risks incurred are some fruits are seasonal while vegetables are perishable. The monthly income from my business is roughly ksh 12,000.My expense are roughly ksh 10,000,the balance that is ksh 2000 is not enough to increase my stock.I will pay my loan from my bussiness income.
My name is Mary Njeri and i live in Ongata Rongai about 25kms from Nairobi.I run a green grocer in kwale market. The reason why i started the business was to be able to cater for my minor needs since am a student in Kenyatta university. The business is a bit competitive and it needs extra hard work.
The business has also some challenges because some goods are rare to find or they are scarce to find. This result to high prices from the farms and i am unable to buy some goods for my customers, whereby i end up getting low profits.
when given the zidisha loan i will be able to increase my stock and i will meet the demands of my customers
