About Me

My name is Twum Portia. I am a lady of twenty six years. I am from Sunyani in the Bono region of Ghana. This region came out of the former Brong Ahafo Region. It was split into three regions for developmental purposes. I am educted and even while engaging myself in entrepreneurial activities i am still reading courses with the view of getting myself a degree. I am currently on an open relationship but not married yet. I come from a family of four which comprises my mother and two brothers. Unfortunately for me my dad passed away just last year so he is no longer with us. I am little bit jovial and also i have a high sense of humour which helps me a lot in my business. It helps me to keep good relations between me and my customer notwithstanding their attitude. I like teddy and even as now o keep some as pets. I also like cats. I use my leisure time in reading and sometimes too going on tours.

My Business

Currently i am into the sales of motor, bicycle, motor parts and bicycle parts. I didnt start the business actually but i am the one in charge now. It was my father's business and was under the management of my elder brother after the demise of my father. He also thing he cannot handle the business and the onus fell on me. I have managed it for a year and i have made some improvements but its not enough. I sell all kinds of bicycle and motor parts and with with the motor i sell specific ones which meets the preferences of my customers. I make enough sales because these cycles are in use at my place more than cars. People can buy them comparing their prices anf that of vrhicles. My annual income is about 600 ghs. My weekly income is also 170 ghs. My profit is about 35 ghs.

Loan Proposal

I own a shop which deals with the sales of bicycle and motor. I also sell spare parts for both the bicycle and motor respectively. It has increased my revenue about twenty percent since i took over from my elder brother who traveled outside the country. I am therefore going to buy more motor and bicycle spare parts. I will use the entire loan in buying these spare parts to meet the demands of the market and my customers as well. This is because my shop is a wholesale shop and not a retail one. I have to then my goods in bulk always. Thank you.
