About Me

I am Thomas Gyedu a native of Biadan a village in Berekum Municipality in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I started my basic education at Biadan basic school and was the boy's prefect when i was in form three[3] . I further to Jinijini Senior High in the Brong Ahafo Region.
After my secondary education i had no body to support me to continue my education tertiary level , as a result of in turned to be a laborer and was working in a cocoa farm for wages. later on i moved from that mans' farm in the western region where most cocoa is produce in Ghana to Accra the capital town of Ghana to search for job because for about two[2] years my wages were not paid.
What i will never forget in my live is when getting stranded at Accra and didn't know where to go and what to do too? and unfortunately some also stole my last money . In my own country i was sleeping in front of a store on papers and when it rains i will be beaten by the rains, oh my God.
One day at Accra i carried a certain mans' load for him and did not take anything do i was doing that work for money and the man picked me from there as a houseboy to ran errand for him in his house and i accepted it. It was in that house that the man decided to put me into welding and i also accepted it .
i learn this trade for three years and serve my master for two good years and later asked for permission to get back home to begin my own at Berekum since few people were engage in that business . so i started making of burglar proof and security gates which fetched me may daily bread. Actually i was a footballer but could not play far because of dislocation and no i am a football fun.

My Business

My welding shop is labeled Paa Tommy security and welding. My motive is to produce security for people in my community so i do security doors , burglar proof for windows and canopies too.
all these services are important to my people because it protect them from thieves when you have the windows and door burglar proof. it is now serving as a source of work for others who buy and sell my product.
some young boys in my community are also learning this trade and it will reduce unemployment rate in my community.
Though my services is relevant to the community and the nation at large but financial problem is impeding my business progress. Due to my small capital i can produce more goods and can not also train others too since my tools and equipment are not enough.
Again materials need to produce these canopies[metal pipes, ] and gates are also costly and i pleading for you assistance for help.
I am pleading that if i am able to get an amount of $200 a work i will be able to earn $40-$50 and will be able to settle my dept.
If i am granted this loan my profit margin will increase by 35% and will be reinvested in my business in other to help myself and my community too
