About Me

My full name is Asare Baffour Benneh Eugene but people usually call me Uncle. I come from Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region.
I am my parents' second born among the three children that they have. Like most homes in Africa, i was not all rosy growing up but by God's grace i was favoured enough to complete my Senior High School education at Sunyani Senior High School and later furthered it at a Berekum college of education Ghana.I am very extrovert and i like to talk and express myself a lot.
I enjoy watching tv and reading information on the internet.

My Business

I started my business of keeping and selling goat a year ago. having bought a single goat at 45 dollars I reared it and sold it at 90 dollars in just 5 months. it is this that has motivated me to think of buying more goat at least two one male and the other female. that way I can mate them and sell the goat that are facing an increase in demand. Today just 5 months since I bought my goat, the price of a single goat has gone up by 25% and therefore making it a viable business.

Loan Proposal

I am really grateful to zidisha team and lenders in assisting me to receive my first loan of 100 dollars. I am here again in request of another loan to cater for vertinary services such as deworming and also castrate some of the male to prevent inbreeding amongst the stock which will cost $45 in deworming the whole stock and $10 each in castrating eight male goats totalling $80. I will then use the remaining funds to buy timber and nails and also hire a carpenter to increase the capacity of the pen to take more livestock which will cost $75. Since my livestock business have increased dramastically,I promise to sale some of the she goats in repaying the funds I will receive from lenders. My business have now drown attention to the public who come in each day to visit my farm. They always ask where I got the funds to establish such business and I always reply,its the good efforts of zidisha team and lenders that I'm where I'm today.l hope my loan application will be granted.
