My name is Esther Ramadhani Otieno, I am married with 2 children, both are girls. I was born in a polygamous family of 15. In my mother's house, we are 7; I am the 4th born in the house. I have been helping my father in his shop and hotel since I was young. I have managed to learn a lot in the business sector. When I got married to Otieno, I desired to continue with business so as to help him care for the family. I have had experience as the manager of my father's hotel; now I believe I should own one and even grow further. I ask the lenders, through Zidisha, to help me achieve my dreams.
At the moment, I have a small chips box on a table in which I sell chips and mandazis (fried dough) to passersby opposite in Rang'ala Boys High School, adjacent to Rang'ala Girls teachers quarters. I'd love to open a tea room and also to build a small kiosk for selling the chips. I also hope to start a mobile hotel if, God willing, I go far with this project. My husband loves technology, so I hope he'll help me put cyber in the tea room too. My end game is to empower women and youths to be sustainable in whatever they do for a living. Thanks.
Firstly, thank you for assisting me achieve greater heights so far, I want to expand my business so that I may also sell Irish potatoes in addition to selling chips and mandazis, this loan would enable me to stock bag of Irish potatoes which i'd resale to increase my income, please, kindly assist me towards succeeding in this venture, it will cost me $600 to hire a room and stock it with bags of irish potatoes, including transportation costs. Thanks.
