MY STORY
Am a 34 year old disabled man living and working in the outskirts of mtwapa. I was born in kisii in nyanza, am married blessed with a boy and girl. I trained as a middle level accountant in college about 12 years ago. Am currently serving as an accounts clerk in Mtepeni secondary school. I also run a motor bike taxi business which I acquired recently that i finished repaying for it. I got a second hand one at around $800 but I have been struggling to pay but i am through now i own it fully.
The bike helps me in getting to work place since its about eight kilometers from mtwapa I can’t walk that far due to my disability hence saving about $1 daily. The income from salary I get am able to pay school fees and rent and other expenses for my kids and whatever remains I boost my wife’s second hand clothes business.
On Saturdays I go to church in mtwapa SDA church with my family and on Sunday we visit shekina children centre where we do bible study with the orphans and donate whatever God has blessed us with.
I love face booking and reading the bible a lot and enjoy spending quality time with my family. I believe in disability is not inability hence am

MY BUSINESS

I earn about $100 a month as an accounts clerk since I was commuting using a hired bike I was paying about $1.5 daily to and from school. So I was forced to acquire a second hand motorbike to help me get to work place and save that cost. In that process I hired a bike rider who does taxi business with it. The bike has been able to make about $4 daily but now due to increased number of bikes the amount has reduced to $3 in which $2.5 I use to pay rider and fuel leaving me about $1 to save daily.
Since This bike has been helpful to me but since i got it on credit have been struggling to clear a balance of $300 but now iam through i appreciate that it making my life a little manageable. paying for it really affected my loan repayment but i appreciate i own it now.

Loan Proposal

I would use the third loan of $ 50, to pay the bike transfer charges from previous owner to me, and that is payable a government agency, kenya revenue authority, this would enable me have full ownership of the bike
