About Me

I am Peggy Rose Appiah, I am 40 years old and a single mother of one. I lost my father when I was in primary school class six at the age of twelve (12). I was therefore catered for by my paternal uncle. Financially things were difficult for me and my other seven siblings. Hawking on the street with various items for sale so as to make income for our upkeep.
When I finished secondary school, I stayed home for two years in order to raise enough capital before entering school. I passed my secondary school exams successfully and worked as a sale girl. I saved a little money from my sales girl job and then entered Takoradi polytechnic where I graduated with higher national diploma, where I did national service and then currently working with Alpha Capital and also studying a degree course in marketing during weekends. I have a son who i am also taking care of at the basic level.

My Business

It my plan to school to the master’s level where I will form my Own advertising company where I can employ the youths in my community to help reduce unemployment in my area and also help others get job doing and earn a decent living.
Currently it is my wish to educate myself, my son and dependents to the master’s level, knowing that education is key to personal and national development.
At the moment, I own a provision shop where I do petty trading in cosmetics and provision items too so as to help me make some additional income.

Loan Proposal

My son having stable school for the last two terms, he has perform in school this year than ever before. In preparing for the new academic year, the following are what I will require and how I will use my loan if granted

2. Buying for books for next class @ $75
3. Buying of clothing @ $50
4. Feeding him at the school @ 70
In all a I need a total loan of $ 295 to be able to pay for my son's schools fees for the 1st term of next academic year.

It is our first time, using Zidisha. We are positivly surprised to get the money back so fast.
Now we are looking to reinvest the available lending credit again.
