I was born and raised by a single mother, in western part of Kenya. Never had both parental love ( never seen my biological father) she never had enough to take me to school earlier enough until when my uncle took me to school at 8 years in standard one. Never enjoyed my childhood like any other children. After primary school I used to work in peoples farms/neighbors tea plantations to get food and school fees. When a neighbor saw the ability in me tendering his farm, took me to his house in the city for a college in exchange for paying my mother which was not fulfilled. Life was not favorable since he never took me to a college as promised instead made me his gate keeper. My old friend introduced me to the business since I used to do deliveries for him. In my land people do not do crop rotation, there stable food is maize. One of daughter wants to become a lawyer and the other one a model girl. My hobby time is doing social work or visiting needy children in rehabilitation homes.
Thanks a lot to my lenders for granting me my first loan which I completed repaying this week. The loan assisted me to buy toner accessories .I do recycle/re-manufacture used laser toner cartridges and desk jet inkjet cartridges at at an affordable price and deliver them to my clients' offices or homes, thus protecting our environment from hazardous pollution and cutting cost in running of my business.
I wish to advance my business of re-manufacturing toner accessories/ cartridges since my business has grown. Currently my cost for buying accessories has risen to Ksh 2500 per month and rise a profit of Ksh 1000. I use my profit for school fee for my two children, reinvest in the business and have also enrolled in a computer College for classes in technical field and repair of computers and printers as well as video and Photography to enable me get some skills in the other fields.
I Plan to buy toner powder at $85, New drum units at $ 65, Memory Chip sets at $ 50, Packaging materials at $ 45 and the rest to use in paying rents and utility bills. This will make me meet my clients needs in time by supplying orders on time and pay my monthly debts in time, supply my daily needs to my family and will enable me to assist my brother to educate one of his children since he has no income.I expect my profit to increase by 45% more than last year.
