My names are Erick Ndwiga Kenya citizen by birth, am the 1st born in the family of three, I live in Kitengela town which is located off Mombasa road, i operate a cab business/ company which is situated in upperhill Rahimtullar towers, I cleared my ‘O’ level in the year 2009 and joined University of Eldoret where i studied Diploma in Tourism and wildlife management and cleared in April 2013, I will be graduating in December this year for my Diploma. I decided to start up a cab business because i didn’t want to sit down and wait for my graduation day yet i needed money for my personal use. I love playing football and traveling or visiting historical sites. I
My Business
My business is on the transport or rather Tourism industry in Nairobi Kenya, Tourism has peak and off peak seasons so not full time , i sometimes get bookings with companies like Pwc Kenya and Ecolab East Africa and friends, for me to have a fleet of car's i have to start somewhere and for sure one day my dreams will be valid, as an entrepreneur i believe, Food,Accommodation and Transportation is the way to go.so my side business falls on the Food sector, i started with chicken or Poultry, which is supports my Transportation business
Loan Proposal
Following the introduction of Uber services in kenya for the last one and half years now,am left with no other choice but to sell my current car which was very well maintained and reliable but does not meet the requirements with uber which is the year of the manufacture, Uber is cheap reliable and convenient any time, so most of the clients now prefer uber instead, but i still have some of them supporting my Taxi business, i just sold the vehicle yesterday at 4500 USD and i now need to top up the balance which is 3500 USD of which i managed to acquire 1120 USD from my savings from the Poultry, Sugarcane juice shop and my Taxi trips, my aim is to buy a 2010 above model vehicle , my budget is approximately 8000 USD inclusive of the insurance and the car track ,The good thing about uber is ,the trips are on cash and the credit ones are paid weekly ,One being online from around 7am to 9pm can make approximately 50 USD per day ,so on a good week one can make upto around 350 USD weekly,so owner can plan accordingly and make payments on time, On acquiring the loan i will have a new car to maintain my clients and do uber trips hence more income, i will highly appreciate your assistance in my business, Thanks in advance.
