I have grown up in kamfinsa, Kitwe on the copperbelt. I am married with 3 kids.I graduated from Mwekera school of Agriculture with a diploma in Agriculture science. Due to the lack of jobs, I decided to have my own land where have variety of seedlings tomatoes, onion, vegetables etc which I sell to most farmers. I also keep village chickens. I started these ventures with with a small amount I had saved after working at a white man’s farm. My children want to become farmers so that we can feed our nation together.
My business is mainly vegetable farming whereby we are involved in selling a variety of local vegetables. I also invest in village chickens and plan to expand my business. These village chickens have a huge demand.. Then rest of the farm area is covered in agroforestry where we grow number of crops and keep trees for sustainability. The cost I face with selling is transport to deliver to markets to sell.So transport is a cost.
I am so thankful to all my lenders for the previous loan. I have started harvesting fresh maize for sell and now I need a loan to help me find transport means to deliver to various markets. This will increase my profit and I will use the profit to buy school needs for my children.I pray that am assisted.Thank you
I have no doubt that even with economic crisis my business still will sell. In the food business its usually making profit because people eat everday. Even where there is corona virus and most shops are closed people still need food. Thus for me i can still make money because what i sell is essential commodity. i will repay without delay
