I am an entrepreneur in books and stationery who's business has been going through a challenging phase for sometime now,it has been difficult sourcing for funds, since the local banks and lending institutions requirements and conditions are not quite favorable to most business people.
My sister introduced me to Isaac Asare Boahen,a volunteer mentor who invited me to apply for a zidisha loan. This is an amazing opportunity for local entrepreneurs to apply for credit facilities with extremely reasonable interest rate and terms of payments.
We are a business into books, stationery and merchant services, which has been in operation for about a year now, located at Darkuman Quarters ,Accra-Ghana. It's a good location for business and the demand is high but currently we are struggling to meet the needs of the market, because the industry is capital intensive and mostly, profits reinvested makes little or no significant impact to the growth of the business because of the high demand for other goods that may not be available. Getting the right funding and resources will propel the enterprise to a much good standing in the competitive business environment and meet the needs of our client base with much priority to excellent customer service.
As an entrepreneur, I want to improve on my management skills thus taking a study program in computer skills to be able to manage my bookkeeping accounts, monitor the progress of my business, reduce losses and enhance efficiency. I would appeal to lenders to help me accomplish this as they had helped me in the past to raise a loan. Thank you.
