About Me

I am a lady , a mother of two girls.I live in kasarani area along Thika road. I am a mortgage adviser in a local bank. I have studied business administration up to bachelors level. I started a business one year ago . This deals with purchase of stationery and reselling them at a profit. The need to start a business arose due to the increasing need for more income. I am employed on contract term, therefore starting a business was the best option, in case a contract is not renewed I would still get an income to cover my needs.During my free time i enjoy reading, swimming, and walking. Zidisha sounds an interesting lender since i do not have to involve alot of parties in borrowing unlike the saccos. Thanks Zidisha for this noble idea.

My Business

My business which is one year old involves supplying stationery to retailers. currently i have two orders i supply to two private schools all the stationery. This includes books, chalks, dusters, charts and books. I have managed to get a tender from a third school which i will be supplying as from May. The loan i will get will enable me to purchase the stationery require. The loan will be repaid from the money i will get from the stock earlier supplied..The business is profitable but has some challenges, this include lack of business in low season. I intend to overcome this by starting a bookshop and an mpesa shop. This will ensure constant income.

Loan Proposal

Thanks again for an opportunity to get another loan. I must say that zidisha has greatly supported me financially I need 450 dollars to pay for a younger sister who has just joined university. She passed so well in high school and will be joining university of Nairobi in September. In the meantime i have offered to pay for her tuition in an accounting college. She will study accounts and bookkeeping instead of being idle at home. The loan will go a long way in brightening the future of a young person.I will repay the loan using my salary as well as my stationery business. Thanks

i wish to adjust my installment from 1000 to 500. this is because of some financial strains in the business. at the moment the business is operating on low season . however once the business is doing ok i will reschedule to a higher amount as i do not wish to pay hefty interests so far am grateful for the loan offer. thank you for your continued support.

i wish to reschedule my weekly installment, to cater for an arising need that calls for medical attention. I hereby propose to minimise my weekly installment, fro 1522 to 500. This adjustment is for a short span of time. I intend to clear my loan at the scheduled time. However, after three weeks the installment will be back to 1522. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. Thanks
