About Me

I come from a very humble background. I began my primary education in a low profile public school where i was very bright and outgoing, due this i got a sponsored by private school when i had reached class seven. In my new school i was regarded as a pace setter for the entire class mates. I worked hard to set the pace for them and I eventually did splendid in my kcpe qualifying me for a national school. I had no fees to take me to Maseno school and I was advised to sell the chance to any other student who had the money so that i can attend a local school where I would meet the cost. I disagreed and went to seek assistance from the then area member of paliament who offered to pay a small amount to just get me started and advised me to apply for bursaries. While in Maseno I went through alot of misshaps, ups and downs. Most occasion being sent home for fees, whenever this happened I would stay away from school for as long as a month. It was very depressing. Finally, disregarding all these fallbacks i did well in my kcse landing me to various jobs. Since i left high school i had worked mainly in teaching. I got employed in a school today and quit as soon as you realise they are not paying you. This became the trend, it was so challenging as i was after saving so as to take myself to the university. My parents were and are still unable to liquidate my university fees. Currently iam persuing an undergraduate degree in Egerton university in kenya where iam a citizen. Iam facing a challenge in raising my University fees considering that iam financially crippled and that the cdf subsidies are very meager to mitigate the overal crisis. During recess I always look for jobs so that I can settle afraction of the required fee because i neither have aparent/gurdian nor a soonsor to pay for my University education. This is what is compelling me to seek external avenues that will see me achieve some if not all of my dreams. Assistance of any sort will highly be appreciated.

My Business

Being a student i engage myself in a tuft of small businesses that earn me some commercial value. At one moment selling second hand clothes, running a kiosk out of the school, another moment selling second hand shoes, and so other odd jobs. All these is in abid to sustain my life and academic needs in the school.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to pay my university tuition fees and pay for my accommodation as well. Though the amount requested will honestly not be enough but it will help me subsidise the amount. I have a tuition balance of 69,000 KES and an accommodation balance of 4,000 KES.
