About Me
I am a 33 year old Ghanaian with 3 siblings, recently got married,a football and golf fanatic and a lover of electronics. After completing my national service 4 years ago I was on a job hunt till two years ago I decided to start my own business. Since then my life has been mostly about my family, my work, watching football (I am a Chelsea FC fan) and golf(almost every Thursday to Sunday). Funny thing is that I have never held any golf equipment but I fancy winning a golf major tournament in the near future... ha ha ha ... and I keep on dreaming.
My Business
My work is basically into the sale of electrical gadgets(wiring cables,multi sockets,TV antennas) and mobile phones and accessories (batteries,chargers,cases). I have recently included Mobile Money merchandise and the sale of call recharge cards and it has really increased my daily sales.
This business is in high demand due to the quest for smartphones and the fact that Ghana is migrating from analogue to digital TV stations. Profits from my work is partly reinvested into growing the business and taking care of my sibling and will be the main source of loan repayment.
Loan Proposal
This loan is purposely to purchase more TV antennas as well mobile phone cases and phone batteries to meet high demands as the Christmas festivities are fast approaching.
The cost of purchasing both the phone cases and batteries is $97 where as that of the tv antennas will be $193; making a total of $290. With this amount I will be able to meet demands of my existing customers,enable me get more customers and also enable me take care of my siblings.
Per my projections, I expect my profit margin to increase to about $750.
