About Me

My name is Benard Okello,I come from Busia county western Kenya.I come from a family of 8 and i am the first born in our family. I schooled at st Josephs chakol Secondary school, but did not proceed to college due to financial constraints.
After my secondary education i started small business of selling Irish potatoes’I Buy the potatoes in wholesale and redistribute. I am looking forward to expand my business so as to enjoy economies of scale. I started this business to sort out my bills as well as to take care of my seven siblings. From my earnings I am able to buy food stuff and cloths for my family members.
My hobbies include socializing, riding, swimming and dancing. During my free time i do social work like visiting elderly and cleaning my village,

My Business

My name is Benard Okello I am an upcoming entrepreneur ,I sell Irish potatoes to earn my daily living.I buy the potatoes from mt Elgon region to sell them at Busia border. I always ensure i get fresh and high quality potatoes for my clients. This ensures that am able to retain my client my clients always prefer my products since my prices are always fair.
This business is profitable because the goods are fast moving and the demand far outweighs the supply.
The major risk involved is theft of goods, while on transit by highway robbers however to mitigate this, we transport our goods during the day. my monthly expenses is an average of $600 and my revenues average is $800,my profits therefore is $200 in a good month.
I will use money from my business to service the loan. I am looking forward to mutual relation with all stakeholders in the Zidisha, thanks for visiting my profile.
