About Me

My name is Charles. I was born into a humble Christian background on the slopes of the Aberdare Range. Due to financial strains in our family and community at large, I joined public nursery, primary and secondary schools, which offered standard education compared to others which were expensive in terms of school fees. My beloved granny, "may She live long to see her son prosper," gave all she could until I was through with my secondary school.

Growing up, my granny used to tell me in vernacular, "A home with a son one day they will roast meat, even if it's rabbit meat." This till today keeps me going and I say I will roast more than a rabbit. The fact that my family was poor made me dream of delivering them by starting and running businesses. After being sponsored to college and studying pharmacy, I opted to start my own retail chemist [pharmacy] from my little savings, though I believe my dreams of conquering the field are valid.

Though my kids are young, I will let them decide on what they want to pursue. Though I am not a footballer, I enjoy watching football and I am a big Manchester United fan.

My Business

Since it's a retail chemist, I offer all medicines that can improve health. I also offer free services like weight and blood pressure check-ups to attract more clients. In central Kenya, most people suffer diseases such as diabetes and hypertension; thus, drugs used to manage the two conditions do good. Although the government does offer these drugs, patients don't have confidence with those facilities and thus I reap big from this.

In the future, I am planning to register a limited company whereby I can import and distribute medicines all over the nation. I am a strong believer that everything is possible with plans in place and with God's blessing. Once I am certain health is available and affordable to all, I will venture into other fields to better the world at large.

Loan Proposal

Hello Lenders! First am very grateful to you for your kindness. My last loan was a success to me and to community at large. I back here to apply a new loan of upto 2043.08 Us dollars so that I can be able to upgrade my retail pharmacy to a medical clinic, in a medical clinic I will be able to offer more services to my clients such as consultation, laboratory services and first aid. I am also planning to create a room for emergency deliveries of babies. According to my upgraded business plan I will need to hire a clinical officer and a lab technician to assist be deliver this noble services of keeping the community healthy and also give and make primary healthcare available to all. I am planning to use 1000 Us dollars to expand the pharmacy and buy desks, weighing machine, an examination bed and also build an incenerator where I will be burning my wastes. To the remaining 1040.08 Us dollars I will add
the little money I have saved and use them to buy few laboratory equipments including a simple light microscope whose price is abit high. Incase I have any money left in my budget I will use it to pay salaries to my new employees before my new clinic gains momentum. I am humbly requesting all people of good will to make this happen.
I looking forward to this mega project.
Thanks in advance.
