my names are Isaac Wanyama ,I am the 2nd born in a family of 7 children. My dad was a primary school teacher while my mum was a nurse. At only 17 years, I we were left orphans when my parents perished in road accident. Life changed drastically after the burial. I completed my secondary school same year but due to unavidable circumstances because my parents passed on just a few months to exams I didnt do well as expected. I had no money to join university to pursue my career .
Life become tough and tough with every single day. I knew pretty well that sitting back and waiting will not help much.I had to work hard to sustain myself as well as my siblings. I embarked on agriculture were I grew leaf vegetables to sell to the neighborhood town, but when my crops were ready there was glut in the market and I sold at minimum prices. I almost gave up ,but decided to give it a try once again. it went well and I managed to to get premium prices for the goods. From there hence forth ,I have worked hard to improve my farm and I now grow both traditional and exotic vegetables.
we practice traditional male circumcision in our culture. these is a special occasion that only takes place after two years and graced by the elders.
I have one child called Rina, she is is only 9 months old. I love her so much.
I am a very social person and I like making new friends, meeting new people and sharing new ideas.
my business is farming.i grow various horticultural crops and sell them to the near by college and market. demand for vegetables is always high due to ever growing population and reducing number of land and people doing agriculture.
I choose these business because it was profitable and needed small capital to start.
I spend $60 each month on manures and seeds. my monthly revenue are $220. In a month I make average $150 .
I use my revenues to educate my siblings, and support their basic needs as well as to take care of my young child and wife. I save 20% of my income for reinvestment and farm expansion.
Dear lenders I am planning to upgrade my farm by installing drip irrigation system to save on water used and reduce the cost of production. I have bought pipes and I am now remaining with 3 water tanks .I will use the loan to buy the 4000 liter water tanks to be used in the installation of the the drip system. Thank you for your kindness
