About Me

I was born in Busia county , I went to ukwala primary school and joined ukwala secondary school, i then joined KMTC for a coarse in clinical ,however i was not able to complete due to lack of money,my desire and hope is that one day, I raise enough money for my education.
after dropping out of college I went back home, my parents were really pitiful but could nothing because they had no money to support me. I knew i had to do something before it was too late ,and so started farming. Though I am still new it looks promising.
I am a basketball player and love watching basketball and soccer, during my free time.

My Business

I grow tomatoes in my farm, and so my business provides high quality tomatoes to my clients. I sale my tomatoes to neighbors and local market.
Tomatoes are essential vegetables that anyone can afford, most people fear growing it because of lack of knowledge on how to go about the diseases.
I choose this business it was the most profitable business i could manage with my meager resources.
My costs are $100 in a month and my revenues are $300 in a month depending with the season.
I use money to save for my school fees ,invest back to business and take care of our family.

Loan Proposal

I am requesting for KSH 37912 loan about $400 to help me buy organic fertilizer for my tomatoes and capsicum and buy a weighing scale that I would used to measure produce so that I can determine how much I have produced and sell exact kilos other than estimating.
I would spend $200 on organic fertilizer ,that would increase the flowering and fruiting rate of the tomatoes hence more produce.
I would spend $180 on a weighing scale that would help me weigh my produce and sell per kilo and avoid using tins as a form of measurement. When i use tins brokers stand to benefit since they are too big. I loose 10kgs of tomatoes per every 50kgs due to lack of scale and that has seen me make big losses. I believe the scale will prevent any further loss
