I am a carpenter running a woodwork and joinery business' yard.
I make all wooden furniture ranging from beds ,tables ,seats and wardrobes.
The business was incubated in 2019 after I finished my training in college in woodwork.
It is my sole passion that keeps me and sustains my family .I would love to expand with time and hire more manpower to assist me in my work , and even train young people who are interested to better their lives as a way of giving back to the community.
I solely depend on my business as a source of my livelihood.
when I started it was from my sisters support . she bought me all the tools I needed for the work and I had to use my skill and effort to make it possible.
I started with making as little as $60 dollars per sale of my work as profit, saved every time to expand my stock and rent a shade for working. I have now been able to be independent and looking forward to expansion , I now make a profit margin of $100 per sale of my work and in a good week I can make 4-5 sales.
I will use this funds to buy one tool for my workshop. I have been trying to furnish more tools for my helpers in my store.
