My name is Christopher Kuria. I am a father of three children, born and raised in Gatanga, Muranga County. I lived in Makongeni phase 5 plot 94. I am a hard working person. I finished my secondary school in the year 2000. I didn't join college due to financial problems and these because my parents were jobless. I started to help my parents on farm work and in that time life was very hard because of the little money I got, some I gave to my parents to assist in paying school fees for my little siblings. I work hard to see my children will not suffer like I did and that I can educate them without problems. I like to pass time visiting orphans just to encourage them about life.
After finishing my high school, I started farming where plucking tea was the only option. Tea plucking is a bit profitable in my region because I could earn KSh 300 per day. With my little savings, I managed to pay for a barber course which I attended in the afternoon after finishing morning chores. After completing that course, I worked in a different shop to get experience and from there I relocated to Thika and started my own shop. I now have many customers due to affordable prices and good services that I offer.
Lenders, I want to buy: a dryer costing $150, blow dryer costing $50, facial therapy machine costing $200. This will help to increase customers and services and to increase profit. I am expecting to add a profit of 7% per $10 and it will help to expand business. I want to make the right way so our business will grow more and more. Thank you, lenders, for your cooperation with peoples' needs.
