I come from a family of 10 children. I am the 6th born in the family. I went to Ebusakami Primary School then proceeded to Essaba Secondary School.
I was taken to Maseno Polytechnic later where i learned tailoring and weaving.
With this two skills i was opened a small business by my mother where i started tailoring services.
When i got married and later God blessed me with four children whom i educated and raised through this business.
Sometimes it was very hard for me to get their school fees and this enabled me to start weaving baskets from banana fibres for additional income.
In our culture we are born to be hardworking people in order to make ends meet for our family.
I have been in this business since then until when all of my four children finished high school. I later employed to ladies to assist me in tailoring services as i was committed to weaving.
Until now i want to thank God because He enabled me to raise money and added to each of my children when they were starting their own businesses.
When i have free time, i like telling stories to small children in encouraging them to grow up as good and obedient people.
At my business i offer tailoring services and weaving services.
I do weave bsakets of different sizes and make.
I chose this kind of business because i learnedthis skills at the polytechnic and hence i went a head in applying what i had learned. This skills has enabled me to raise and educate all my four children. Three sons and a daughte. I really thank God for that.
From tailoring and weaving services, the profits i get after i have deducted all expenditures i usually have Kshs. 6,000/= at the end of the month.
With this profits i have been able to raise and educate my children with and even been able to start business for my children,
Immediately i receive these loan funds, i will invest in my business and by the following items:-
1. Paints (different colours) for decoration for Kshs. 6,000/- = USD - 60.0558
2. Weaving threads (all sizes) for Kshs. 7,000/= - USD - 70.0651
3. Tailoring materials for Kshs. 12,000/- = USD - 120.112
4. Banana Fibres and other related products for Kshs. 7,000/- = USD - 70.0651
I will appreciate for your support. God bless.
