My Name is Gideon Gyamfi, I come from Nobewam where I reside in Ashanti Region. I am married with three children. I completed Shs but couldn't continue because my father died at an early stage when i was twelve years of age. with all the family burden on my mother i decided to work hard to support my mother to look after my younger siblings. My left us with a cocoa farm which I took over as the eldest son. I'm also into livestock business where I rear pigs, sheep's, coats, hen's forsale. I choose to invest in livestock because growing up my father trained me well in farming, livestock and rice farm which generated alot of income to support the family. My elder son wants to be a policeman, the second too a nurse and the third a businessman, so I working hard to help them achieve their various dreams as my education was cut short due to money. At my shs days at school I used to play for the school soccer team where my friends used to call me Kaka because my style of play was like him. Ashanti is a great kingdom with its chief as Nana Osei Tutu II. Ashanti's has a unique golden stool which unites all the states in Ashanti.
I rear poutry, sheeps, pigs, goats, a cocoa farmer, rice farmer and other small business. I choose this business because it's really giving me enough money to cater for the family. people from other communities around comes to my farm to buy all kinds of livestock for their respective occasions and business. it generates enough revenue and profit on daily basis due to the high purchase from the restaurants and pubs who buy these animals for their desire purpose of business.
I am applying for this loan to enable me buy cocoa seedlings t nurse and replace the dead ones in my cocoa farm. I would also use some part of the loan to buy maize to grow as the time for planting is getting nearer. With this I would be able to sustain the cocoa farm to cultivate more bags at the end of the season and also serve my customers who would purchase the maize for consumption by various schools in Ghana. This will help me raise enough profit to stabilize farm business and cater for other expense.
I would pay this loan from the profit i make from the sale of poultry and pigs and also make sure I adhere to Zidisha weekly timely payment. Thank you
