Hello,
My name is vitalice onyango. I'm 40 years and I'm a carpenter by profession. I was born in Siay a district in Kenya. My childhood days were spent looking after my fathers cattle, which was the livelihood of our large family of 8 siblings.
I trained as a carpenter, a trade which was the only option after failing to get school fees to continue with education. I came to Nairobi some 10 years ago and a friend of mine introduced me to his local way of work, we have been doping simple repairs in the local area of Mathare North area 2 since.
However, I have children in school, the little jobs we do and the strains in the economy has pushed me to think of how to get money to open my workshop. I will be happy if you could help fund my workshop project.
As a born again https://www.sportpesa.com/#, when I have no work at the workshop, I spend most of my time in the church at the Jesus winner ministry where I like sharing the word of God.
Workshop in the area of Mathare area 2
The nature of the intended project is to open a workshop where my friend and I would work at ease without the need to go round searching for clients. I will buy a surface planner and a lathe machine to help with wood work.
At the moment, the projected cost of the project is at Ksh-150,000 which will be enough to buy the two machines. on atypical month, the cost of purchasing other supplies will include another Ksh-30,000 and the rental cost will take Ksh-5,000 per month.
I spend Ksh-4500 as the rental cost for my house where I reside with my children. the school fees usually takes Ksh-150,000 per year.
Workshop in the area of Mathare North Area 2
I have already opened a workshop in the area of Mathare North Area 2 with the first and second loan I got from Zidisha where am now working with my friends.
This money, I will add with the little I have and pay a deposit for the two machines I intended to buy. A surface planner and a lathe Machine which will help me with the wood work which was projected at a cost of ksh. 150,000.
